The Disappointments formed in 2019 in a House of Music band camp.  Since then, they’ve tightened as friends and as a band, going on to play local Twin Cities music festivals and music venues like The Uptown VFW and the Driftwood Char Bar, as well as private events and fundraisers.

Founded around a common love of the blues-fueled classic rock of the 1960’s and 1970’s, their current catalog has expanded to include more than 5 decades of classics ranging from CCR, Jimi Hendrix and Steppenwolf to more modern blues rock by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Clark, Jr. and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. Still, don’t be surprised to hear them dip into funk, new wave, pop punk, grunge or alt rock.
